McCormick returns as Premier League interim chair

The Premier League has announced that Peter McCormick will become the league’s interim chair on February 1, when the incumbent Gary Hoffman steps down. 

McCormick, a lawyer who is the senior partner of McCormicks Solicitors of Harrogate, previously served as interim chair for the Premier League between March 2014 and June 2015. He is also currently chair of the league’s Football Board and Legal Advisory Groups, positions he will retain while serving in the interim role.
