Matchroom’s PGA EuroPro Tour to shut down amid ‘increasing costs’

The PGA EuroPro Tour, the men’s developmental professional golf tour created in 2002 by promoter Matchroom Sport and the Professional Golfers’ Association’s Mastercard Tour, is to cease operating due to financial difficulties.

The Tour has announced that its final event will be the Matchroom Sport Tour Championship at Lough Erne Resort in Northern Ireland from October 19 to 21.
