Revenues at Matchroom Sport and its group subsidiaries reached £189.9m (€225m/$229m) in the 12 months to June 30, 2021, despite the sizeable impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on different sports events, while a group profit of £17.8m was registered, SportBusiness understands.

Details of the recently lodged financial results come with Barry and Eddie Hearn, the father-and-son pair behind Matchroom Sport, thought to be in talks with private equity firms to sell a substantial minority stake in the sports event promotions firm.
