French Ligue 1 football club Olympique de Marseille has struck a sponsorship agreement with Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota that will incorporate its Lexus brand.

The two-year deal will cover the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

As part of the agreement, Toyota and Lexus will provide Marseille with a fleet of fully hybrid vehicles. Toyota will also have a space at Marseille’s Stade Vélodrome to welcome customers and fans on match days.

Additionally, Toyota will be granted the use of club imagery and players for promotional campaigns.

Toyota will replace Korean automotive company Hyundai as Marseille’s car partner. Hyundai’s two-year deal with the club expired at the end of last season.
