Manfred confident of avoiding MLB lockout as CBA deadline looms

Major League Baseball (MLB) commissioner Rob Manfred has maintained he is confident a deal will be reached on a new collective bargaining agreement, therefore avoiding the prospect of the first lockout in the sport for over two decades.
