Manchester United returns to profit in quarterly financials

Manchester United has returned to profit in its quarterly financial results, despite total revenue falling by 9.8 per cent year-on-year.

The English Premier League club today (Thursday) announced financial results for the 2023 fiscal second quarter ended December 31, 2022, with profit standing at £6.3m (€7.1m/$7.8m). The club recorded a loss of £1.4m for the equivalent period in the previous year, while a net loss of £26.5m was announced for the three months to the end of September 2022.
