Two major Asian motorcycle races have fallen victim to the pandemic in the last 24 hours, with the Malaysian MotoGP at Sepang International Circuit in October and the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance World Championship race in Japan in November both cancelled.
It is the second year in a row the Malaysian MotoGP has been cancelled due to the pandemic. The grand prix, due to take place October 22-24, has been replaced on the MotoGP calendar by a second race this year at Italy's Misano circuit.
