Timo Lumme, managing director of television and marketing services at the International Olympic Committee will be joined by leaders of world sport, including IAAF chief executive Jon Ridgeon and Andreas Zagklis, secretary general of basketball’s world governing body Fiba, as part of an outstanding speaker line-up at the London edition of the Sports Decision Makers Summit on July 9 and 10.
The Summit, to be held at the Rosewood Hotel, High Holborn, brings together some of the most influential leaders in sport for two days of authoritative and stimulating keynote sessions and insightful panel discussions designed to deliver the intelligence that members of the C-suite audience need to make smarter business decisions.

As managing director of the IOC’s television and marketing services, Lumme is responsible for the sale of all broadcast rights to the Olympic Games, the negotiation and sale of Worldwide Olympic Partnerships as well as the management of the IOC’s global sponsorship programme. He has one of the most distinguished CVs in the sports sector, having worked for the IMG agency, Nike and ESPN.
As an athlete, Jon Ridgeon competed in two Olympic Games and won a world championship silver medal in the 110m hurdles before embarking on a career in broadcasting and sports marketing.
In 1998, he was a founding partner of International Sports Marketing agency Fast Track, where he held a range of roles, including chief executive, before leaving in 2012, to become a director of Achieve Events, where he helped build the mass participation events business to the point of acquisition by Virgin.
Ridgeon became chief executive of World Athletics in March.
Andreas Zagklis joined Fiba in 2016 as legal director after having acted for 9 years as its external legal advisor. He became secretary general in December last year and leads this sport into the ground-breaking Fiba World Cup in China later this year.
During his career he has advised basketball players, coaches and clubs and acted as assistant to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in three Olympic Games (2004, 2006, 2008).
He was instrumental in the growth of the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT), supervising more than 1,000 basketball-related cases, as well as in the governance changes adopted by the extraordinary Fiba Congress in 2014.
The Sports Decision Makers Summit agenda will embrace media, sponsorship, the gameday experience, fan engagement, esports and finance.
