The International Luge Federation (FIL) has announced its upcoming Luge World Cup series will take place behind closed doors and “almost exclusively in Europe” due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

An updated calendar, devised by FIL sports director, Maria Luise Rainer, includes races in the four Olympic disciplines of men’s and women’s singles, doubles and team relay, in addition to sprint events.
