Liga MX trials centralised rights sales with Leagues Cup

Liga MX president Mikel Arriola has revealed that the Mexican football league will centrally market its clubs’ television rights for the Leagues Cup, the regional club competition it organises alongside North America’s Major League Soccer, from next year.

Arriola said that Liga MX would work with MLS to market rights for next year’s Leagues Cup. It would mark the first time that Liga MX has centrally commercialised rights for its clubs.
