LEWIS & TYSON SET FOR BOUT IN JULY

“We are ready to start negotiations for a summer fight,” Ogun said, “July 21 is the date that we are looking for.”
Earlier Tyson’s manager Shelly Finkel said the American former undisputed champion would return to the ring in April and was prepared to fight the 35-year-old Briton this year.
“I am very pleased that Mike genuinely wants to fight Lennox,” Ogun said.
“The sooner we sit around the table the better. The only problem I have had is getting Shelly to sit down and talk seriously about this fight.
“We are ready, Lennox is ready, willing and able to fight anywhere, any time, any place. Mike now wants the fight, Lennox wants it, the public are demanding it.”
Ogun, who was due to fly to South Africa on Sunday to negotiate a possible venue for Lewis’s title defence against American Hasim Rahman on April 21, said Lewis versus Tyson would be the biggest fight ever and agreed that it could be worth around $100 million.
