The Turkish division of Chinese IT and technology company Lenovo has agreed a deal to sponsor the Euroleague and EuroCup club basketball competitions for the 2019-20 season.

Lenovo Turkey signed the partnership with Euroleague Basketball, which organises the two competitions.

Lenovo will serve as the regional sponsor for all games played by Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul in the Euroleague, and those of Galatasaray Doga Sigorta, Darussafaka Tekfen and Tofas Bursa in the EuroCup.

Galatasaray won the 2016-17 edition of the Euroleague, which is title sponsored by Turkish Airlines. The 2015-16 and 2017-18 EuroCups were won by Galatasaray and Darussafaka, respectively.

Roser Queralto, Euroleague Basketball’s chief business development officer, said: “As a market leader and one of the most forward-thinking brands in the world, Lenovo is a perfect fit for our sport in general and Euroleague Basketball in particular. There is endless potential for us to work together at growing our shared commitment to delivering the highest performance at all times.”
