US beer brand Bud Light has agreed a deal to sponsor the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).
Bud Light will serve as the official beer of the league, with its products to be offered at all LCS events through mobile bars and beer gardens.
Bud Light will also deliver ‘How I LCS’ themed viewing parties and present the League of Legends’ ‘Ace Moment’ on series broadcasts. Bud Light will also support the series’ new post-show programme, which airs after the Monday Night League and will be streamed via the LCS and Bud Light Twitch channels.
Bespoke post-show content will also be created exclusively for Bud Light’s Twitch channel.
In other news, fast-food restaurant chain Burger King has been unveiled as a sponsor of Belgium’s first-ever League of Legends series, which has been launched by Riot Games.
The league officially got underway on Monday and comprises six teams, with football clubs RSC Anderlecht and KV Mechelen among those who will be represented. Burger King will initially sponsor the Belgian League for one season.
