Bernard Laporte has resigned as president of the French Rugby Federation (FFR) after he received a two-year suspended prison sentence for corruption offences.
Laporte initially stepped aside from the role last month following a recommendation from the FFR’s ethics committee. He also stepped down from his role as vice-chairman of World Rugby after being convicted of corruption offences.
