Lapland town launches bid for 2032 Olympics

The Finnish village of Salla, which claims to be one of the coldest towns in the world, has announced its intention to bid for the 2032 summer Olympic Games to raise awareness of climate change.

Salla, which is located in northern Lapland, believes 2032 will act as a turning point in the battle against global warming and is urging people to act.
