LaLiga, the governing body of Spain’s top two professional football tiers, received no bids for its so-called 'Horeca' broadcast rights for distribution in public establishments, and says it will now market the rights non-exclusively.
LaLiga took the decision at a meeting of the Control Body for the Management of Audiovisual Rights yesterday (Thursday), after no bid was forthcoming from the likes of the Mediapro agency or telcos Telefónica and Orange. The initial Horeca tender initiated on April 20 with a deadline of May 19.
