LaLiga presses ahead with domestic tender despite regulator stance on longer terms

Spain’s LaLiga is to press ahead with a domestic broadcast rights tender that allows bidders to lodge offers over four and five seasons despite advice from the country’s competition watchdog, the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), that the current three-year bidding limit should be maintained.
