UK-based independent sport and entertainment management company KIN Partners has named Danny Paiser as its senior vice-president, commercial.
The role is a newly-created one for Paiser, who joins KIN from the IMG agency, where he has been serving as vice president of strategic partnerships, football. His time at IMG was short-lived, having only taken up the position there at the end of 2019.
Paiser began his career in the sport industry with global football conference organiser Soccerex, before joining City Football Marketing – the commercial operation of Manchester City owner City Football Group – in 2013, initially as regional manager for Latam and EMEA. His stay at CFG lasted almost seven years, taking in a variety of positions including head of regional partnerships, vice-president – head of partnership sales (EMEA), director of tours and, finally, vice-president of partnerships, EMEA.
At KIN, Paiser will be responsible for overseeing the group’s commercial offerings within sport. KIN currently works with several leading sport properties, representing English Premier League football club Chelsea as its exclusive player endorsement agency, while it was also the founding commercial arm of David Beckham’s Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, Inter Miami.
The Chelsea deal was struck in KIN Partners’ former guise as Doyen Global, which it was named when launched in 2013. Doyen Global was founded by 19 Entertainment’s former senior vice-president, Simon Oliveira, and CAA’s senior executive Matthew Kay.
Paiser’s appointment follows that of Onur Yegenoglu, who was named head of sport earlier this year as part of the group’s push to become a full-service sports agency.
