Kiev and Belfast land rights to 2017 IIHF World Championship events

The Ukrainian capital of Kiev and Belfast in Northern Ireland have been awarded hosting rights to the lower tier events connected to the International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) men's World Championship in 2017.
