Karamarinov elected permanent European Athletics president, Glasgow to host new event

Dobromir Karamarinov has been elected unopposed as the sixth president of European Athletics, while the governing body has announced that a new mixed-gender indoor team event will debut in Glasgow in February next year.

Karamarinov was elected yesterday (Thursday) during European Athletics’ Special Election Congress in Lausanne, Switzerland.
