Korean virtual and augmented reality experiences company Kakao VX has raised KRW20bn ($17m) to expand its golf business.

Kakao VX runs several golf-related businesses, including virtual golf centres, a service allowing users to book sessions at golf facilities, and two golf training academies. The company is part of Kakao Games, a division of Korean messaging and digital services group Kakao.

Kakao VX raised the money from Korean venture capital firm Q Capital Partners.
