The United States Soccer Federation has named JT Batson as its chief executive officer and secretary general, extending a period of change for the organization.
Batson succeeds Will Wilson, who announced earlier this year that he would be stepping down “to pursue new professional ventures and opportunities," but will remain through October to assist in the transition.
