Journeyman golfer Robert Garrigus, who is currently ranked men's world No. 1,043, has become the first PGA Tour player to seek permission to take part in the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series event set for June 9-11 at Centurion Golf Club in St. Albans, England.
Garrigus, 44, has just one career victory and has not taken part in a major championship since 2013.
