Jockey Club appoints Truesdale as permanent CEO, replacing Bushell

The Jockey Club has announced that Nevin Truesdale will take over as the organisation’s next permanent chief executive from the start of 2021.

Truesdale has been serving as acting chief executive of the horse racing group since August when the previous incumbent, Delia Bushell, resigned from the role amid a string of allegations relating to the bullying of staff and the use of racist language.
