Japan set to sign off on cut-price National Stadium plan

The Japanese government plans to cut construction costs by a third for Tokyo’s new National Stadium under plans set to be discussed tomorrow (Friday), while Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) has reiterated its belief that starting the project again from scratch would present an “unnecessary risk”.
