ISU names 2016 speed skating hosts

The International Skating Union (ISU) has named hosts of its 2016 speed skating events as Berlin, Moscow and Seoul.

Berlin will host the World All-round Speed Skating Championships on March 5-6. In short track speed skating, Moscow will host the ISU European Championships on January 22-24, whilst Seoul will host the World Championships on March 11-13.

German capital Berlin has already been named as this year’s ISU World Cup Speed Skating host, to be held in December.

Seoul also hosted the ISU World Cup Short Track earlier this month. Meanwhile, Moscow will hold the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2013/2014 next month, and is already set to host the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships in March 2015.
