Ireland confirms it will join UK in exploring 2030 World Cup bid

The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has confirmed it will join the FAs of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in exploring a potential bid to host the 2030 World Cup, continuing the current trend for multi-country joint proposals to help spread the costs of hosting Fifa’s mega-event.
