The number of spectators allowed to attend Indian Premier League matches will next week be doubled to 50 per cent of stadium capacity following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in India, according to multiple reports.

Local media outlets report that BookMyShow, the recently-announced exclusive ticketing partner of the T20 cricket competition, confirmed the news while promoting the release of the latest batch of tickets.
