IPC strikes new Commonwealth Games co-operation agreement

A new co-operation agreement has been signed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) that ensures Para sport’s continued involvement at the Commonwealth Games.

As part of the accord announced by the two bodies today (Wednesday), every edition of the Commonwealth Games following Birmingham 2022 in England will only feature sports whose international federations are recognised by the IPC.
