IOC strips IBA of right to run Paris 2024 boxing competition, qualifiers

The International Olympic Committee executive board has stripped the International Boxing Association of the right to run the boxing competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics as well as the qualifiers for the Summer Games.

The IOC said the decision "follows the continuing and very concerning issues of the IBA, such as its governance and its refereeing and judging system."
