IOC ratchets up pressure on Fifa’s biennial World Cup plan

The International Olympic Committee has renewed its attack on Fifa president Gianni Infantino’s plans to increase the frequency of World Cup competitions.

Infantino’s biennial World Cup vision was one of a number of topics on the agenda of the 10th Olympic Summit, which saw leading representatives of the Olympic Movement gather virtually on Saturday.
