IOC signs with nWay to introduce first-ever Olympic NFTs

The International Olympic Committee has teamed up with mobile gaming developer nWay, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, to create the first Olympic-themed non-fungible tokens.

The IOC and nWay are collaborating on a range of new digital experiences centred around the Olympic Games, with a cross-platform multiplayer series of games lined up, tied into the IOC’s first foray into NFTs, the blockchain-authenticated digital collectibles which have recently risen to prominence.
