IOC launches Olympic Esports Series ahead of finals in Singapore

The International Olympic Committee has revealed more details surrounding its Olympic Esports Series 2023, a global virtual and simulated sports competition that will culminate in Singapore from June 22-25.

The series has been created by the IOC in collaboration with international federations and games publishers. Nine sports are set to feature during the series: archery, baseball, chess, cycling, dance, motorsport, sailing, taekwondo and tennis. Each featured game in the series will have its own competition format and entry requirements.
