IOC: Agenda 2020 has resulted in profound change and progress

The International Olympic Committee has claimed that 85 per cent of the recommendations outlined in its Agenda 2020 initiative “have been achieved” as the body hailed the progress and change driven by the programme since 2014.

The Olympic Agenda 2020 was adopted at the IOC Session six years ago, when the governing body for the Olympic Games outlined 40 detailed recommendations intended to encourage reform and evolution within the Olympic Movement, primarily focused on the three pillars of credibility, sustainability and youth, by the end of this year.
