Infront bolsters position in France with agency acquisition

Infront Sports & Media has moved to further enhance its presence in France by acquiring the Sella Communication agency.

Infront announced earlier today (Monday) that it had completed a 100-per-cent acquisition of Sella Communication, which has strong links with handball and rugby union in France.

Sella Communication holds over 20 years of industry experience and currently serves as the official agency of the French Handball Federation (FHF).

Sella Communication also provides its customers with a variety of other sports services, including seminar planning and organisation, as well as VIP travel arrangements. It also serves an agent to a large selection of brand ambassadors and stakeholders.

“The acquisition of Sella Communication is a unique opportunity for us to become the official agency of the French Handball Federation and also position ourselves as a true leader in the hospitality market in France,” Jean-François Jeanne, managing director at Infront France, said.

The FHF and France is hosting the International Handball Federation’s men’s World Championship from January 11-29 next year.
