Gianni Infantino has been elected unopposed for a second full term as president of world governing body Fifa at the organisation's 73rd annual Congress, held in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Norwegian Football Association (NFF) was among a number of national federations which had hoped to register opposition to Infantino's uncontested election but no ballot was required at the Congress. Instead, delegates welcomed the re-election of the Italo-Swiss lawyer by acclamation with a round of applause.
