Indonesia is to return to the Superbike World Championship calendar in 2021 for the first time since 1997, provided its new circuit is completed on time.

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme and the Dorna WSBK organisation announced that Southeast Asia’s most populous country will host a round of the WorldSBK motorcycle series at the Mandalika race track, a new venue located on Lombok Island, on November 14 next year. The inclusion of the circuit will, however, depend on the completion of construction and "homologation" approval process.
