Sports marketing agency IMG has acquired the business-to-business network platforms Golf Business Forum (GBF) and the Golf Business Community (GBC) from KPMG.
Running since 2004, GBF is an event for golf industry professionals to meet, learn and exchange ideas. IMG plan to build on its success by widening its global appeal and content, whilst continuing to grow the extensive network of professionals focused around the game of golf.
IMG will also continue to work with KPMG in an ongoing partnership in the years ahead on both projects. KPMG golf advisory Nick Oakley will also join IMG as part of the transition, and will work closely with his former colleagues to ensure a smooth handover.

GBF 2014 will take place in Abu Dhabi at The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa from April 28-30.
