IIHF World Championship to return to Germany in 2027

Germany has been awarded hosting rights to the 2027 edition of the men’s Ice Hockey World Championship.

Germany was selected ahead of Kazakhstan during the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF)’s annual congress in Tampere, Finland, which is currently co-hosting the 2023 tournament alongside Riga in Latvia.
