The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) has announced the cancellation of two Climbing World Cup events set to take place in China later this year due to concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic.

The IFSC was due to stage the Lead and Speed World Cup in Wujiang from September 30 to October 2. Chongqing, meanwhile, was scheduled to host the Boulder and Lead World Cup from October 6 to 9.
