The International Cricket Council has rejected an audacious proposal by the Pakistan Cricket Board to stage an annual T20 series between Australia, England, India and Pakistan following a meeting of its board in Dubai.
The idea of a quadrangular tournament was floated by PCB chairman Ramiz Raja earlier this year. The plan attempts to capitalise on the rivalries between the teams and provide a new revenue stream for the PCB.
