The inaugural XFL championship game will be played at the University of Houston’s TDECU Stadium, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The game is scheduled to take place on April 26 at 3pm ET and be televised on ESPN. An official announcement is expected on February 13.

The 42,000-capacity TDECU Stadium is the home venue of the XFL Houston Roughnecks. The league also held its training camp in Houston in January.

The revived XFL enjoyed a solid start during the spring-season American football league’s opening weekend, with healthy 17,000-plus attendances in the four games played and creditable television ratings.

The league has continued its commercial activity by agreeing a deal with sports data and content company Sportradar.

It follows deals with fantasy sports brand FanDuel, radio network iHeartRadio and sports betting network Vegas Stats & Information Network, Canadian broadcaster TSN and fantasy sports provider DraftKings, along with sports data and technology company Genius Sports.
