Josh Harris and David Blitzer have expanded their business portfolios by acquiring youth baseball organizations Ripken Baseball and Cooperstown All Star Village, which have now merged under the pact.
Harris and Blitzer are the co-owners of the National Basketball Association's Philadelphia 76ers and the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils, among other properties. The investment was made through their respective family offices, rather than joint sports investment vehicle Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment.
