Casino and resort brand Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos has become an Official Sponsor of the NFL’’s Carolina Panthers in a five-year deal.
According to the Cherokee One Feather newspaper and multi-media news organisation, the sponsorship includes mentions during broadcast coverage, branding rights at the Bank of America stadium and experiential offers for the casino’s VIP customers.
Brian Saunooke, the regional vice-president of marketing for Harrah’s Cherokee, said: “The most visible way that the sponsorship will be represented is through broadcast TV and radio. The Harrah’s Cherokee brands will be mentioned, and logos shown for pregame, also in-game and postgame on a rotation, so it’ll be different each game.”
Saunooke added: “In-stadium, we have the naming rights for Panther’s Champions Village, which is a hospitality location within the stadium. So, it’s actually going to be the Harrah’s Cherokee Champions Village. And we’re the sponsor for the 5th Quarter post-game show.”
Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos is owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and operated by resort operator Caesars Entertainment. The casino and resort is located in North Carolina.
