German bathroom brand Hansgrohe has extended its co-title sponsorship of the Bora-Hansgrohe men’s UCI WorldTour cycling team for another two years.
The deal will extend the brand’s association with the team to five years and means the Bora-Hansgrohe name will be retained until 2021.
Kitchen company Bora agreed to extend its own sponsorship deal last year.
Commenting on the extension, Hans Jürgen Kalmbach, chief executive of Hansgrohe SE, said: “The positive impact that has been experienced by the brand and its reputation confirmed our decision to renew our contract. Together with the team, we aim to continue this success story.”
Bora-Hansgrohe finished the 2019 UCI WorldTour season in second place and are “on the way to becoming the number one cycling team in the world”, according to team manager Ralph Denk.
