Formula 1 has announced that Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, will continue as the title sponsor of the Kingdom’s grand prix following the renewal of a deal that has been running since the event started in 2004.

The Bahrain Grand Prix will open next year’s F1 calendar as the motor racing championship gets underway on March 3-5 at the Bahrain International Circuit, as it has done for the past two years.
