National Women's Soccer League side NJ/NY Gotham FC has announced a "strategic partnership" with SL Benfica of the Campeonato Nacional Feminino.
Through the partnership, Gotham will get access to Benfica's training and coaching methods while Benfica will be able to identify and recruit Gotham players to train with the Portuguese side. The clubs say that their collaboration will also add to branding opportunities.
