Globo hammers out details of 2026 World Cup rights package

Brazilian media group Globo has finalised the details of its 2026 Fifa World Cup rights package as part of its renegotiations with football’s world governing body over its deal for this year’s tournament in Qatar.

Globo has confirmed that it holds the rights for the 2023-26 period, a cycle that also includes the 2023 Women’s World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand.
