The finals of women’s national team tennis event the Billie Jean King Cup will return to the UK for the first time since 1991 after the Scottish city of Glasgow was awarded hosting rights to this year’s event.
The finals will be hosted at the Emirates Arena from November 8-13 and will see 12 teams, including Great Britain as host nation, compete to win the trophy. Great Britain gains entry as host nation having been eliminated from the qualifiers by Czech Republic in April.
