Ghana FA signs MTN, Uber deals ahead of Qatar 2022

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has agreed new sponsorship deals with South African telecommunications firm MTN and US technology company Uber ahead of the national team’s 2022 Fifa World Cup campaign.

MTN will invest $2m (€2m) to back the ‘Black Stars’ through to January 2024. Speaking at the unveiling of the deal, Ghana’s youth and sports minister Mustapha Ussif said: “This support is timely and will significantly boost the Black Stars preparations towards achieving our target of going all the way in Qatar.
